	Biographie: Guy Pujolle est professeur de l'Université Pierre et Marie Curie -Paris 6, membre de l’Institut Universitaire de France et membre de l’Académie Royale de Lund, Suède. Il est également professeur invité dans le cadre Science sans Frontière de l’Université Fédérale de Rio de Janeiro. Avant il était « Distinguished » professeur invité à POSTECH, Corée du Sud de 2011 à 2013. Il a commencé sa carrière à l'IRIA (Institut de recherche en informatique et automatique). Il a ensuite été professeur à l'ENST (Telecom ParisTech), puis à l'Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris 6 depuis 1981, avec un passage de1994 à 2000 à l'Université de Versailles. Guy Pujolle a été nommé professeur de classe exceptionnel en 1993. Il est également professeur honoris causa de l'Université BUPT de Pékin. Il a été professeur invité de nombreuses universités étrangères comme NCSU, Rutgers, Stanford et l’UQAM. Guy Pujolle a reçu de nombreux prix dont un Grand Prix de l’Académie des Sciences en 2013 et le prix Seymour Cray en 1991 pour l'ensemble de ses travaux. Guy Pujolle a été membre du conseil scientifique du groupe Orange (1990-2010) et de nombreux conseils scientifiques en France et à l'étranger. Il est le représentant français à l'IFIP sur les réseaux de télécommunications. Guy Pujolle est éditeur dans de nombreuses revues internationales comme Journal of Network Management, Telecommunication Systems, et éditeur en chef de « Annals of Telecommunications ». Il est lui même auteur de plus de 300 publications scientifiques et d'une vingtaine d'ouvrages, en particulier "Les Réseaux" (Eyrolles) vendu en 150 000 exemplaires. Guy Pujolle a été président du réseau français de la recherche (REUNIR puis OFFRIR) de 1987-1991. Il a été membre du comité des sages (3 membres) pour décider de l'architecture du réseau européen de la recherche: Lars Backstrom (Finlande), Brian Carpenter (GB) et Guy Pujolle (France) ; décision du 22 janvier 1990 de prendre TCP/IP comme technologie pour l'Europe. Il a été président du comité des experts pour la réglementation au ministère des Postes et Télécommunications de 1992 à 1998 et membre de la Commission Consultative des Services de Télécommunication du ministère des Postes et Télécommunications - CCST (Président P. Faure) de 1992 à 1998. Il a également été Président technique du consortium de WLANSmartCard pour normaliser la sécurité et la mobilité dans les réseaux locaux sans fil utilisant une carte à puce (2002-2006). Guy Pujolle a été à l’origine de plusieurs découvertes importantes du monde des réseaux comme les réseaux à très haut débit, les DPI et les réseaux virtuels. Il a de nombreux brevets sur ces domaines.
